  • In this case we want to delete the object because it is the wrong source class:

--> select then the delete button and confirm;

--> check in your source list - the object is gone.

Edit & remove information about a source object

If you want to edit information about a source object, such as the bibliographical citation, then:

  1. enable the edit mode;

  2. edit / add or remove information.

Directly edit information

You can directly edit information when it is linked as a text-string, and not as an entity on its own. This is for example the case for the short title, definition or comment:

Note that fields you can directly edit are indicated with a blue rhombus or an orange text icon (see above).

Edit other information

Add information

You can add information as wished by switching in the 'edit-mode' and clicking on the '+' icon.

If the '+' icon is in lighter grey and not clickable, this indicates that for this specific field the maximum number of allowed entries is reached (e.g 1/1).

If you want to change it, you have to (a) remove the existing entry by clicking on the 3 dots --> remove and (b) add a new one.

Remove information

You can remove information as wished by switching in the 'edit-mode' and clicking on the '3-dots'-icon --> Remove.

Attention: Read carefully what exactly you are about to remove: Is it only the link/relation between two entities or are you removing the connected entity as well?

Confirm the removal once you are sure that it is correct. Do not hesitate to contact us via the help-center in case of questions/doubts.

Delete a source object

Sometimes you might need to remove/delete the whole source object. Select the '3-dots' icon next to the 'view-mode' icon:

Hint: On the right side of the above clip you can enable subtitles.

Attention: Read carefully what exactly you are about to remove.

Confirm the removal once you are sure that it is correct. Do not hesitate to contact us via the help-center in case of questions/doubts.

Hint: In case the information you want to edit is not directly editable (as described ), then you might want to follow this procedure:

the correct information as a new entry and

(a) the former entry or (b) mark the new entry as favorite.
